As a person who Growing up in Beijing, when I got my hands on a pile of LEGO bricks, I thought—why not bring a piece of that history to life in a playful way?

This project started as a love letter to my roots, using LEGO to recreate a stunning piece of jewelry from the Forbidden City Museum’s collection. It wasn’t just about copying the design but reinterpreting its intricate patterns and cultural symbolism into something fun and tactile.
